My name is izi. I'm a computational linguist deeply passionate about biodiversity and the preservation of cultural, botanical and agricultural knowledge.
Currently, I’m based on a farm in the Tuscan hills, where I work remotely on several informatics projects, random illustrations, and linguistics.
My week: Nourishing my inner nerd from Monday to Wednesday and cultivating my inner farmer and creative soul from Thursday to Sunday.
For projects with and without friends, I develop websites and databases with a thematic focus on art & culture, biodiversity, agriculture, design, typography, and other cool topics.
I mainly work with Python, Wordpress, Vue.js, and Angular, but I also enjoy shell scripts, database architecture and playing around with maps, eg. using OpenLayers.

Join me for a virtual stroll through the Tuscan hills — a meditation of biodiversity, discovery, and nature’s quiet wonders (filmed in gello for the project xploreNature by #sustainabledecisions).
